The Corsairs Tournament, a national badminton tournament organized by the Cercle Jules-Ferry, ended on Sunday, late afternoon. A marathon for the thirty volunteers mobilized. “It’s true that it’s an exhausting weekend but in front of the congratulations of the players for our event, it’s a fatigue that we forget”, comment in concert Christelle Guio and Gaëlle Gouchet, the co-organizers of the tournament.

Among the 200 registered players, two were able to do well in the national series: Lila Berton (Saint-Jacques) won in women’s doubles and mixed doubles the next day. Among the men, Grégoire Bodin (Saint-Grégoire) came close to a double: associated with Vincent Guillou on Saturday, he won the men’s doubles but had to lose in the mixed doubles with his partner Camille Le Bourhis against Lila Berton and Baptiste Commoner of Saint-Jacques.
Many are already looking forward to pushing back the floor of the flower basket room for the ninth edition.
