Borussia Dortmund: Coach Edin Terzic appeals to BVB fans football news

Coach Edin Terzic has signed his new contract with BVB. The runner-up captured this moment – which was quite emotional for the coach – on video and shared it on social media. In addition, the 39-year-old appealed to all Dortmund fans.

After Terzic signed his contract until 2025 alongside BVB boss Hans-Joachim Watzke and future sports director Sebastian Kehl and thanked those responsible at Borussia for their trust, the coach also addressed the Dortmund fans.

“Almost a year ago we were able to celebrate the cup victory in Berlin. But it was much too quiet. Nevertheless, for me it was the best day in the life of a Borussia player. Today it’s similar, especially for me, so a small request: Leave us so hungry be like never before. Let’s work as hard as never before. But let’s also be as positive as never before,” Terzic said in the video Twitter.

But the BVB coach was far from finished and added aggressively: “But most importantly: let’s be louder than ever. Then I’m sure we’ll have a great chance one day to celebrate like we always have never. I would be very keen on that. On that note: we’ll see each other soon in the most beautiful stadium in the world.”

Terzic, who acted as interim coach for Borussia in the 2020/21 season for the previously dismissed Lucien Favre and coached the black and yellow to win the cup, had to give up his coaching position after Marco Rose was signed and acted as technical director last season. After Rose-Aus, Terzic is now back on the sidelines and should shape a new era in Dortmund.
