HISD seniors will be able to attend a basketball game featuring the best senior players in the district on Sunday, May 15, at 4 pm at the Pavilion Arena (7525 Tidwell Road, 77016).
Student athletes will showcase their talents to their peers, parents, educators, and the rest of the community. Fans will watch a total of 2 matches that will be played by alternating male and female players in rotating eight-minute quarters.
In between, HISD will award a total of four college scholarships, two to male student-athletes and two to female student-athletes.
During the dinner that will take place the night before the match, the coaches will announce the players selected for the match. Players will receive jerseys and hear from event sponsors.
