It was a special day for all the students at the European School in Erkelenz: three professional baseball coaches trained with the youth in the Erka Hall. Selected classes were able to gain their first experience with the sport, which is particularly popular in North America. Darren, Dan and Bradley, experienced coaches from the US state of Texas, coached the athletes. The aim of this initiative was to infect young people with modern sporting ideas and to promote the summer camp (first week of vacation) in Hückelhoven. (RP)
