The Final of the Italian Junior Judo Championship of the Fijlkam Federation was held on Sunday 15 May at the Palafijlkam in Rome. In this context, the Piacentina champion Asia Sassi who qualified by right for the results obtained and carried out a brilliant race by winning the first three matches with equally talented athletes from leading companies in Campania, Sicily and Piedmont.
He gave way in the final against the strong Michela Terranova after regulation time at the Golden Score. A big applause from everyone for the formidable race considering that our athlete, in addition to the new class (this year she has in fact passed from the cadets to the Juniors), she too changed the weight category competing in the 52kg. Magnificent result for the Judo Shiai company which saw its top athlete become Italian Judo blue athlete in 2022, conquer the 2nd Dan black belt, the bronze medal at the Italian Judo A2 Cup and today Vice-Champion of Italy Juniores 2022.
