Paris (AFP) – Three years after the first regular-season game in the French capital, the NBA will return to Paris on January 19, 2023 with a game between the Chicago Bulls and the Detroit Pistons, the American League announced Tuesday.
The Parisian public will thus be able to witness the Bulls, who this season have achieved a place in the play-offs for the first time since the 2017 season, under the impulse of DeMar DeRozan and the youth of the Pistons, in full reconstruction around Cade Cunningham, number 1 in the 2021 Draft.
The match will take place in the Paris-Bercy pavilion, which will host the final phase of the men’s and women’s Olympic tournaments of the Paris-2024 Olympic Games.
