Alvaro Morata will leave Juventus this summer | Juventus-fr.com

Juventus have just made a decision regarding Alvaro Morata’s future. The Spanish striker will not be bought out and will return to Atlético de Madrid this summer. Find out more details in this article.

The future D’Alvaro Morata was to be confirmed. Indeed, the Spanish striker had joined Juventus on loan with an option to buy. Last year, the club extended his loan for one season. This time, the leaders had to make a decision, whether to exercise his purchase option of 35 million euros or not to buy him back.

According to information from the Italian journalist Gianluca DiMarzio, the club took the decision not to exercise its purchase option. He will therefore play his last match with the bianconero jersey against Fiorentina this Saturday. He will then return to Atlético de Madrid. However, he is not in Diego Simeone’s plans. The Spaniards will therefore have to set a price to sell it again, at a lower figure than that agreed 2 years ago.

During his second stint at Juventus, he scored 32 goals and provided 21 assists in 92 games. 20 goals and 12 assists in 44 games last season with Andrea Pirlo. This season, it’s 12 goals and 9 assists in 48 games with Massimiliano Allegri.
