A problem at the entrances to the Stade de France forces the Champions League final to be postponed for half an hour

The start of the Champions League final between the LLiverpool and Real Madrid has been delayed until 9:36 p.m., due to problems at the entrance to the Stade de France, on the outskirts of Parisaccording to UEFA.

The information was given just over a quarter of an hour before the start of the meeting, initially scheduled at 9:00 p.m. (7:00 p.m. GMT) and was communicated to the spectators.

At first it was said that the delay would be 15 minutesbut after that time, the problems persisted and it was assured that it would be greater, although no scheduled time was given.

Much of the stands of the Stade de France, which hosts almost 80,000 spectators, were empty at that time.

In the surroundings of the stadium there were some incidents with fans and the police warned of several attempts to improperly overcome the security perimeter set up around the stadium.

According to police sources, some fans broke the security perimeter and entered the area reserved for people with ticketswhich caused incidents and led to the registration of fans being reinforced.

That reason made access to the stadium slower. Most of the empty seats were in the area where the Liverpool fans are located.
