BASKET. The Hauts-de-Seine derby has kept all its promises. Still leaders in the championship, the Metropolitans managed to win against Nanterre after a breathtaking encounter. During the extra playing time, the Metropolitans made the difference to win on the wire (104-102). A success that allows them to forget their elimination in the quarter-finals of the Eurocup on Wednesday in Valencia (98-85).

After a good start to the match, Cherif Hamani’s players had come halfway by taking the lead at the break (11-13). Everything was still going well in the 46th minute (22-23) but a terrible last quarter of an hour ruined the Seine-et-Marnais hopes, finally crushed (32-26).
