Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has already established himself as one of the best offensive players in MLB, and after a win over his American League East rival Boston Red Sox, he spoke directly to fans. Currently 6-2 at home, the Toronto Blue Jays have been one of the best teams in baseball while playing north of the Canadian border.
Whether this stellar home game can be sustained over the course of a full season remains to be seen, but the leaders of the Toronto Blue Jays certainly hope so. A walk-off home run by George Springer tied the game and a sacrifice fly by Raimel Tapia secured the win in the tenth inning.
