Vallsur celebrates the ‘International Sports Day’

Vallsur, on the occasion of the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace, has presented the ‘Sport as a way of life’ campaign, an initiative that aims to support and give visibility to the different teams and athletes in the city through of a series of activities to publicize the city’s sports, as well as transmit the values ​​and health benefits of sport.

The presentation ceremony was attended by Francisco Javier González Vega, deputy delegate of the Sports and Youth Service; Alberto Bustos García, General Delegate Councilor for Citizen Participation and Sports; María Victoria Soto, General Delegate Councilor for Education, Childhood, Youth and Equality, and Pablo Pérez, manager of Vallsur.

For his part, Pablo Pérez, manager of Vallsur, highlighted the shopping center’s commitment to sports and local teams: “Valladolid has great teams and a multitude of sports options. For several years, Vallsur has supported and sponsored Real Valladolid Basketball, to the players of the Parquesol Sports Club, as well as the Valladolid Badminton Club.There are many values ​​that they transmit, the joy they give us game by game, and we have the task of continuing to grow together with them to show the greatness of our athletes “.

In addition to the support and visibility for the players and teams of Valladolid, during the presentation the wide range of sports options that Valladolid has, the achievements that the local clubs and teams of the city have reaped and the healthy competition that they transmit were highlighted .

Likewise, they have highlighted the benefits of sport as a way of life, the values ​​that are transmitted to the little ones as a bet for the future, and sport as a tool for self-improvement and team play.

Finally, the activities that will take place in the Valladolid shopping center to celebrate International Sports Day have been presented.

To this end, this Wednesday, April 6, Vallsur organizes a great sports festival and will receive the visit of players from different clubs in Valladolid, in a day with which it is intended to publicize the different sports and bring the talent of athletes and teams in the city.

To begin with, the Fencing Club of Valladolid, belonging to the national fencing elite, will hold various exhibitions with its fencers and will interact with visitors who want to try this sport, including the smallest, with material adapted to them. Seven of the most emblematic players of the Parquesol Sports Club women’s team will also be signing autographs.

On the other hand, the Spanish badminton runners-up, players from CD Universidad de Valladolid, as well as athletes from Club Deportivo Bádminton Valladolid, will also hold an exhibition and customers will be able to try playing and receive a masterclass.

And finally, the Real Valladolid Basketball players: Melwin Pantzar, Fernando Revilla, Jaan Puidet and the captain, Sergio de la Fuente, will sign autographs for all their fans.
