Trevor Bauer suspended two seasons

THE ANGELSTrevor Bauerpitcher of the Los Angeles Dodgerswas suspended for two full seasons without pay from Major League Baseball for violating the league’s domestic violence and sexual assault policy. But the player denies all charges. The long suspension comes after a woman’s San Diegowhich the pitcher had met through social media, claimed that Bauer beat and sexually abused her last year. Prosecutors of The Angels they claimed in February that there was not enough evidence to prove the woman’s allegations, beyond a reasonable doubt.

This is the press release from Bauerwho also said he will appeal: “I deny in the strongest terms possible, I deny having committed any violation of the league policy on domestic violence and sexual assault“. Bauer is likely to lose approx 60 million euros salary if the suspension is confirmed.
