The athletes of the Bois l’Abesse have prepared for the future championships

The sports association Les Castors Bleus of the Association Bois l’Abbesse, in partnership with the adapted sports league, organized a regional course in archery, football, basketball, badminton, at the snow and outdoor holiday village in Lamoura, in the Jura massif.

50 athletes came from Saint-Dizier, Châlons-en-Champagne, Vitry-le-François, accompanied by 15 educators, sports educators, sports teachers and watchmen. They trained for two and a half hours every morning, in their respective disciplines, in preparation for the regional and national championships.

A supported project

The pace of each athlete was taken into account throughout the week in order to respect his project, in which he is an actor. One of the fundamental values ​​of support in adapted sport.

Additional activities such as hiking or cultural visits enhanced this stay and made it possible to create links between the users of the different establishments. There was in particular the hike from the village of Bois d’Amont towards the Swiss border by the mountain, hike around the Fort des Rousses.
