The second edition of ProxiSports, organized by GYMMAC and A3MA, took place in a festive atmosphere at the Palais de la Culture in Bamako. It was March 26 and 27, 2022.
This 2nd edition of ProxiSports, a sporting event with growing notoriety, involved several sports practices and disciplines, namely: karate, judo, taekwondo, kickboxing, MMA, football, basketball, roller game…
Bodycombat and zumba in group lessons ended the weekend in a crazy atmosphere. The sports professionals, as well as the spectators, who came in large numbers, let themselves be carried away by the beautiful rhythms, the sporting steps and the dance steps, led by the very notorious coaches Kadidiatou Doumbia, Awa Koné and colleagues.
The young kikboxers of Kayes (from 8 to 16 years old), led by coach Moussa Kébé (GYMMAC), also amazed the public of connoisseurs with their much appreciated talents. The GYMMAC (MMA and Kickboxing Faladiè club), supported by the A3MA (Malian MMA Association), co-organizers of the event, had also given themselves with their talented young athletes to introduce the public to mixed Marian arts, Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and the great performances of Malian Kickboxing.
According to the main initiator, Ms. Kadidiatou Doumbia, young and old, women and children shone with the richness and beauty of the many sports and cultural practices, in a beautiful dancing atmosphere. “The winners in basketball and football received their trophies from the president of GYMMAC and A3MA, Djibril Doucouré. All partners and athletes also received certificates of recognition from the organizers. It was a very big success. After this memorable weekend of March 26 and 27, 2022, the appointment is therefore made for edition 3 which we will not miss for anything in the world, ”she promised.
