From Zverev to Struff
The field of participants is as prominent as seldom before: At the International Tennis Championships in Bavaria, the first ATP tournament of the year in Germany, from April 25th, all the winners of the last six years, among others, will serve.
The tableau is led by Olympic champion and Germany’s athlete of the year Alexander Zverev, with Casper Ruud another player from the top 7 in the current world rankings is there. Augsburg’s Philipp Kohlschreiber, record champion with three wins in Munich, was eliminated in round one.
There are also two other strong German starters, last year’s finalist Jan-Lennard Struff and Daniel Altmaier.
