In a press conference, Costa Sud presented the 2nd First Division Tennis tournament to be played in the oriverde courts, this weekend with the participation of players from Bahía Blanca and La Plata.
The event is organized by the club and Víctor Cedrón, Professor of the entity.
Admission will be free and those who attend must bring a non-perishable food to collaborate with the Payasolidarias dining room.
The Sports Director, Guillermo Orsilli, was present and stated: “The Costa Sud club must be congratulated for the initiative; We are not used to seeing these tournaments for boys of this age, they are of another level, they rank tennis, I hope there are more First Division tournaments and they get to know the city, this club has 8 tennis courts, I always say it in the people of Buenos Aires. There are clubs with 6 courts with 5 and with 4 in Tres Arroyos”.
“These are boys who have a national projection and why not International, hopefully one day they will become you, like Cerúndulo who is playing in Miami. I want to congratulate Víctor Cedrón, a tennis fighter, rain or shine, with wind, one passes by the club and sees him here. This is the fruit of him and the people who accompany him. He made the first tournament with a lot of fear, today he is safer with the 2nd tournament with 32 players. I am convinced that the Primera tournaments will be installed in our city, there are players of a good level here. Especially adolescent, who are seen in the people of Buenos Aires. This does nothing more than rank tennis in the city. We urge you to collaborate with the leaders with this sport as they do”, said the municipal official.
For his part, Víctor Cedrón expressed: “I want to thank all the players, the Board of Directors, who helped me in the first tournament, we had rain, the tournament was made for silver, and that made me nervous, but not now, that I contacted the players and 11 players from Bahia came. Thank the club, who opened the door for me and did not hesitate. Also thank the Sponsors, and the journalists because it is the first time that a press conference is held.”
