Susana Villarán: What does the mayor propose to stop harassment? | PRESENT

Given the constant complaints of sexual assault in the public transport service, the mayor of Lima, Susana Villarán, recommended that minors should learn karate and judo to protect themselves from perverts.

“Sexual violence exists whether we like it or not. I think that the girls now have karate and judo classes in the parks in the area to be able to defend themselves and remove the dirt from anyone who dares to lay a finger on them”, mentioned the mayor of the capital.

Likewise, Villarán, who a few days ago announced that he will run for re-election, urged the Public Ministry and the Judiciary to sanction and not release those who sexually assault women.
