Summary Australian Grand Prix: Leclerc, winner again; Alonso and Sainz, a day to forget

Leclerc reinforced his leadership in the Formula 1 World Championship by winning the Australian Grand Prix this Sunday, the third round of the championship, which was held at the semi-urban Albert Park circuit. With this victory, Leclerc adds 71 ​​points in the drivers’ championship, for the 37 with which George Russel is now placed, second in the table, the ones left by Carlos Sainz and 25 by Max Verstappen.

The expectations, which had come to less after Saturday’s qualifying, with Carlos Sainz and Fernando Alonso were not fulfilled. The Ferrari man left on the third lap after suffering a spin in his desperate comeback after a bad start.
