Suarez fillets Barca player: “He’s playing, but no idea what he’s doing”

Luis Suárez has lashed out hard at his old club after FC Barcelona’s 1-1 draw when visiting Eintracht Frankfurt. Ferrán Torres took care of the 1-1 in Germany, but Xavi’s team didn’t get any further than that. Suarez thinks Barca were lucky.

Suárez, himself active in the Champions League with Atlético Madrid, was watching the Barcelona game in amazement. The Uruguayan saw how the players did not do enough for the win. “Fortunately, Frankfurt is a mediocre team, because they could have made three or four,” Suarez is quoted as saying by SPORT Diary.

“Barcelona played an inexplicable game, nothing went right and nobody reacted,” said Suarez, who also lashes out at the younger Barcelona players. “They didn’t run for it and didn’t play seriously. They need to take more initiative.” As a closing, Ousmane Dembélé gets a blow from the pan. “Dembele is playing, but he has no idea what he is doing.”
