Nine clubs from Nay, Serres-Castet, Lourdes, Pontacq, Pau, Montardon, Oloron, Coarraze and Mourenx competed all day in the school gymnasium. The twenty-two teams, certainly of different levels but with the desire to play and do their best, gave a very good show. “There was a very fair play atmosphere between the top players and the others. Everyone gave their all to win,” comments Bruno Carriat, board member.

Pontacq victorious

The combativeness and commitment of the teams made it possible to see a super final between Pontacq and Oloron, which ended with a victory for Pontacq.

Montardon won the secondary final against Oloron who fought well. “We would like to thank the town hall and the community of municipalities Lacq-Orthez for their help as well as the technical and sports services of the town hall,” said the organizers.
