Six CARPO archers will participate in the Pre-World Archery Championship in Olavarría

For the Archery Circle of the West Patagonia Region, it is like touching the sky with your hands, because six of its archers will participate in the pre-world, evaluation and South American Open tournament organized by the Argentine Archery Federation.

This tournament will take place in the Buenos Aires city of Olavarría from Thursday April 14 to Monday April 18, with a total of 136 registered archers between Argentines, Chileans and Uruguayans,

As pointed out by Nicolás Ripa, president of CARPO, this is the most important 3D tournament ever held in the Argentine Republic to date.

It is an Evaluation tournament, since those who obtained the necessary points to fight for a place in the national team for the World Cup to be played in Terni, Italy, in September of this year, must demonstrate their consistency in this tournament.

It is also a South American Tournament since the tournament has such a character within the World Archery, not a minor issue since this distinction requires certain world-class standards, which make FATARCO laudable effort and proactivity.

The Archery Circle of the West Patagonia Region will be present at the event, with two archers in the Longbow Senior Men’s category (Gudiño Horacio, Esquel – Ceruse Martín, Dina Huapi), two archers in the Traditional Senior Men’s category (De La Fuente, Marcelo – Ripa, Nicolás both from Trevelin), an archer in the WA Compound category (Guillermé Marcelo, Esquel), and an archer in the Raso Senior Feminine category (Gómez, Florencia de Esquel), which is worth noting, will compete for a place in Terny.
