How did the park weather the winter?
There was no storm, or any particular damage, so we are relatively happy. And the winter was rich since we now supervise activities all year round. We did snowshoe outings and winter team building for companies. It was a good season, the snow was present in sufficient quantity and we really felt the desire of people to come back for some fresh air.
What’s new for spring?
We are already pursuing the Archery Tag which was the novelty of last year and which has been very successful. It is a team archery game concept reminiscent of paintball. Then we have a new course oriented educational. We already had one on the theme of trees, here we made one on animals. It’s about orienting yourself using maps to find hidden beacons in a pretty forest near our home. It’s an activity that appeals to schools, families and holiday centres, because it allows you to spend a full day on the site. In general, they do tree climbing in the morning, and oriented courses in the afternoon. For tree climbing, we have modified some courses a little, like every year, in small steps. And there is always archery and archery and tree climbing, which allows you to face, in complete safety, trunks equipped with grips.
“A strong demand for schools and holiday centers”
Which audience do you mainly welcome?
At the moment, we have a strong demand for school and vacation centers, and we are starting to fill slots in July and August. Then there are the birthdays for children and the public of individuals, but those will wait for the good weather, while the groups will be announced much earlier. We welcome many socio-cultural centers who appreciate the sense of pedagogy of our team and the pulley system of the continuous lifeline, it’s great for children. The tourists are there too, we give briefings in German and English. Finally, we are developing extensively on all that is team building with a lot of things in the boxes.
Do you have longer term projects?
Next year, but it’s a long way off, we’d like to do another red (there are green, blue, red and black courses, depending on the difficulty). The novelty will be online sales soon, but it is not yet effective. And we will naturally be present on the weekend of June 18 and 19 for the Schnepfenried open house, which will bring together all the players on the site. This will be an opportunity for visitors to test many activities.
In the meantime, is it reopening on Sunday?
Yes there are already groups of registered, but from next week we will take all reservations, preferably by phone.
