NewTuscia – MONTEFIASCONE – Great appointment for youth baseball at the municipal stadium! On Saturday, starting at 3.30 pm, the Montefiascone Baseball Softball will host boys and girls, boys and girls, aged 6 to 14, making them play on the beautiful lawn of the stadium. In this way, the youth activity of the company resumes, which the problems of Covid and the inability to use school gyms have considerably limited.
The Faliscan society invites boys and girls and their parents to participate in a day full of games and fun, with which, with the help of the company’s technicians, they can approach a sport that is certainly little known, but no less beautiful and formative of others.
Indeed, among the employees who study the different aspects of all sports from a technical-scientific point of view, Baseball and softball are considered an excellent training vehicle due to its particular synthesis between the characteristics of team sports (which facilitate socialization and they get used to working with others) and individual ones (who tend to empower children). In fact, baseball is very much a team sport in its defensive phase, but it is also individual in the attack, when each player goes alone to bat to bring points.
But the main goal is to entertain the children, who, if they want, can then try it for free until the end of June.
The invitation is also addressed to the girls, who so far have joined and who could return to form an all-female softball team, to continue the tradition of the girls from Montefiascone who have played in the highest category, among which Flavia Carletti is in the squad of national.
The day will also be attended by some young people who are already part of the company, and who will be happy, together with their parents, to welcome and set an example for the new ones, showing them how easy it is to have fun in baseball, sharing the passion for baseball and increasing the awareness of being part of a team, given that at their age the tendency is towards individualism.

Meanwhile, Sunday 10, at 11 and 15.30, the last friendlies of Serie C before the start of the championship on Saturday 16. The Boars Grosseto will be guests of the municipal stadium, participating in the Serie B championship: it will be a good opportunity to measure the real value of the new yellow-green team.
