The technology company will be present at the tournament with its proposal for uniforms inspired by the colors of the Galaxy S22 series and with its Neo QLED televisions in the Caja Mágica venue.
GL0m3EspS_ESamsung surprises again in 2022 with the original design of the uniforms for the ball boys at the Mutua Madrid Open, held from April 26 to May 8 in Madrid.
After the success of the last edition, the creative consultancy VRANDED Haus has once again been chosen to shape this project of conceptualization and development of clothing. The goal is to enhance design and quality while highlighting Samsung’s innovation and technology.
The main colors for this edition are burgundy and green, the vibrant colors of the Samsung S22 Series palette, which emerge from the darkness in the form of gradients, giving the garment a unique finish of diffuse lines, imitating the luminescent effect.
This is one of the goals for this year, to get closer to the real movement of the tennis ball. To do this, the circular graphics play with the iconographic structure of the tennis ball and the trajectory it draws on the field, while the undulating shapes of the colored spots symbolize the trajectory of the tennis balls on the court.
The designed garments seek quality and comfort with respect to their functionality. The 2022 collection consists of a polo shirt, trousers, a sweatshirt, a parka and a mask in both colours, green and burgundy. The collection is completed with other accessories such as backpacks, caps, bottles or hair bands.
In addition, for the second consecutive year, the line has a very special accessory: inclusive shoes produced by the firm Timpers. This brand of sneakers designs its products thanks to people with visual disabilities.
Samsung televisions will form a mural in the hall of players
Samsung’s presence at the Mutua Madrid Open will not only be on the courts. The Neo QLED 8K televisions can be seen in several of the areas of the Caja Mágica complex, such as the Players’ Hall, where they form a spectacular mural with images of the athletes.
Samsung televisions will also have a leading role in the Twitch stand that has been installed in the venue. In this way, the attendees will be able to enjoy all the spectacle that surrounds the tournament.
Samsung will also carry out various activations throughout the tournament, including raffles for products on social networks and also for those tennis lovers who enjoy the matches held on the Manolo Santana court (Central Court).
