Real Madrid wins Spanish Championship title / Day for the 35th time

Real defeated Barcelona’s Espanyol with a score of 4: 0 (2: 0).

First in the 33rd minute of the game, the home team was led by Rodrigu, who doubled his lead two minutes before the end of the first half, beating the Espanyol goalkeeper for the second time in the match.

Ten minutes after the start of the second half, Marko Asensio made a quick counterattack 3-0. After 72 minutes, the home side was awarded a penalty.

Nine minutes before the end of the regular time, however, Karim Benzema scored the fourth goal in favor of “Real”, who went on the field only in the 60th minute.

The Madrid team had to win at least one point in the match to reach the championship before the last four games.

Real are leading the way with 34 points after 34 rounds and are 17 points ahead of Sevilla, who, despite having four games left, can no longer beat Madrid. Barcelona tops the top three with 63 points in 33 games.

Last season, Madrid’s Atletico triumphed for the first time since 2014.
