PGA: Steve Stricker believes Tiger Woods will be ready to play the Masters Tournament

Still waiting to find out if Tiger Woods will make it to the Masters, golf fans can see a glimmer of hope.

“Knowing Tiger Woods, I believe he will be ready to play. He’s not going to Augusta for a ceremony or to be a passenger. He will be as ready as possible, given the circumstances surrounding his leg. He will probably surprise us once again,” commented Steve Stricker on Friday, according to journalist Gary D’Amato.

It looks like Woods was in practice on Friday and trying to complete his preparation, hoping to compete in the Masters for the 24th time in his career.

Earlier this week, Rory McIlroy also shared encouraging words regarding Woods’ condition and hoped to see him on the pitch as well.

“He was there on Tuesday and obviously he’s trying to see what he can offer on the pitch. He’s the only one who knows if he can play and if he can be competitive,” McIlroy said.
