The Italian Elisa Longo Borghini (Trek) won alone the second edition of the women’s Paris-Roubaix, held this Saturday over the distance of 124 kilometers.

The Italian champion rode alone the last thirty kilometers to succeed Britain’s Lizzie Deignan, on maternity leave, in the list of winners. Longo Borghini did a good job for the Trek, with Ellen Van Dijk and Lucinda Brand controlling any hunting attempts, especially from Lotte Kopecky (SD Worx). Sandra Alonso (WNT), 23, from Alicante, was tenth.
