Lukaku is increasingly on the edge of Chelsea by Tuchel. Also in the match against Real Madrid the Belgian started from the bench, only entering the last one half an hour without being able to engrave.
In the post-match of Chelsea-Real Madrid, Patrice Evra commented on Lukaku’s choice to leaveInter last summer:
“People have short memories. When he arrived he scored many goals, after he got injured and then made that statement where he said he missed Inter. Eventually, he made a bit of a mess with the fans. It is these players who sometimes make a choice of the heart because he wanted to return to Chelsea at all costs. However when you have a season like this at Inter, you have to wait and stay. He made that choice there that is wrong for me“.
