OM: the severe observation of Guendouzi

After the defeat against Feyenoord Rotterdam (3-2) on Thursday, Mattéo Guendouzi (23 years old, 13 games and 1 goal in the European Cup this season) was not kind to his team. The midfielder believes that Olympique de Marseille did not live up to this semi-final first leg of the Conference League.

“We are still alive because there is only one goal difference, reacted the French international on M6. But we completely missed it, especially in the first period when we had a lot individual errors, many technical errors. it doesn’t look like us, it’s not OM, it’s not what we’ve been doing since the start of the season. It’s not worthy of a semi-final.”

“There have been a lot of bad things, but even with that we still manage to get a lot of chances and score goals. We will be keen to catch up on Sunday (against Lyon in L1) and of course the week next (in the return match on Thursday). (…) We made the match difficult on our own, we were the ones who gave them the match, they were not above it”, regretted Guendouzi.
