The cup final is fast approaching. On Monday, Anderlecht and AA Gent will face each other.
Olivier Deschacht will go to the cup final with friends on Monday. Pointing out a favorite finds the former Purple & White player particularly difficult.
“AA Gent has been doing fantastic lately, but Anderlecht were better at Ghent recently. In any case, it will be important weeks for Anderlecht. If they lose that final, the pressure in the play-offs will be great again,” Deschacht told KW.
Deschacht looked up at how Anderlecht celebrated the qualification for the Champions’ Play-Offs. “Anderlecht should never be satisfied with that, Anderlecht should always play for the title. Also in these play-offs. Why not? They are no less than Union and they played well against Club Brugge.”
