The metropolitan town of Ogíjares host this weekend National Circuit of Parabadminton and the II Andalusia Top TTR Absolute and Minibadmintonan event that brings together numerous clubs from different parts of the Spanish geography.

The event is organized by the Spanish Badminton Federation, the Andalusian Badminton Federation and the Granada Badminton Club with the sponsorship of the Ministry of Education and Sports of the Junta de Andalucía, the City Council of Ogíjares and the Diputación de Granada.

As for the National Parabadminton Circuit It is worth mentioning the presence of 18 athletes (26 registrations), from 11 different clubs from Albacete, Albatros, Aspe, Astures, Las Torres, SLN, Xàtiva, Drop de Toledo and the three Andalusians, Bad-Flay, Granada and Huelva).

These 18 players will play the total of the two categories. On the one hand, the WH1-WH2, where the Caetd player Francisco Motero and the Astures midfielder Jorge López stand out in both the individual and doubles modalities.

On the other hand, there is the SL4 – SU5 – SH6 category, which will also be played both in singles and in doubles and Iván Segura and Cristina Sánchez de Lechina, both from Granada, will compete as Andalusian representatives.

Andalusian proof

In the II Andalucía TOP TTR Absolute and Minibadminton, 48 players (71 registrations) will participate, who will land in Ogíjares from 14 different clubs, 12 of them Andalusian.

From outside the community, the presence of Alicante and Leganés stands out. In Andalusia, six of the eight provinces will be represented. The most numerous will be Malaga, where they will reach a total of 5 clubs (Alhaurín de La Torre, Benalmádena, Estepona, Ronda and Jorge Guillén.

They are followed by Huelva (La Orden and Colombino) and Granada (Armilla and Granada) who will have two each. And with a single club per province we will have Arjonilla in Jaén, Rinconada in Seville and Rute in Córdoba. It is expected that the day this weekend will be very even and close.
