NBA 2K22 is now available on Xbox Game Pass

NBA 2K22 is now available on Xbox Game Pass.

Both the Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S versions of the 2K Sports basketball game are now available to all subscribers.

However, that doesn’t include the PC version, which isn’t available on Microsoft’s Windows Games Store.

The game’s inclusion in Game Pass coincides with the NBA Playoffs, which are currently nearing the end of the first round.

Last year, NBA 2K21 was added to Game Pass on March 4th, 2021 and then removed on August 31st, just before NBA 2K22 was released.

This suggests that NBA 2K22 might also stay in Game Pass only until NBA 2K23 is released.

Xbox had previously confirmed that these four more games would be added to Game Pass this week:

  • 7 days to die (Cloud, Konsole und PC) ID@Xbox – 26. April
  • Explore and destroy (Console and PC) – April 26th
  • Bugsnax (Cloud, Konsole und PC) ID@Xbox – 28. April
  • Inanimate (Console and PC) ID@Xbox – April 28th

The following four games are also leaving the service on April 30:

  • Kricket 19 (Cloud, Console and PC)
  • outlast 2 (Cloud, Console and PC)
  • Secret Neighbor (Cloud, Console and PC)
  • Streets of Rage 4 (Cloud, Console and PC)

Microsoft has also announced that the number of Ubisoft titles on Game Pass will soon be expanded.

Over the next two months, Assassin’s Creed Origins will join the library for cloud, console and PC via the Ubisoft Connect app.

The company will also bring For Honor: Marching Fire Edition to PC via Ubisoft Connect and upgrade to Marching Fire Edition for cloud and console.
