At some point the mocking verdict was made: advertising pillars. That’s what the players of the Austrian Bundesliga were called in the 1990s, because everything that had to be lettered soon had lettering. Chest, shoulders, socks, butt, even the team name. FC Tirol Milch Innsbruck – Austria’s football was an example of the excesses of sponsorship.
