Miguel Volcan went to direct Nacional after being robbed for the third time in a month

In statements to Daiana Abracinskas, a journalist at the field level for VTV during the broadcast of the game, Volcan revealed his nervous state being attacked again.

He said that a motorcycle stopped next to him and a criminal got out, he pointed a gun at him and took his belongings.

“It’s the third time in a month, they caught me by pint”, Volcan told the journalist.

Volcan was made official as coach on February 17, replacing Leonardo Zylbersztein.

In this way he returned to Uruguay since he resides in Paraná, Argentina, and his last experience in the League had been in Aguada where he arrived to complete the 2018-2019 League in place of Fernando “El Hechicero” Cabrera taking over for Germán Cortizas who remained as Interim DT and who became his assistant. Then the 2019-2020 League started but he was dismissed in January 2020, arriving in his place the Argentine Adrián Capelli.

On March 4, a briefcase containing a lot of very valuable personal documents was stolen in Punta Carretas.

As reported by the coach himself, the robbery he suffered this Tuesday was third since his return to Uruguay.
