A schoolgirl at La Pommeraye, Ambre Evrard became French champion on March 16, in the less than 36 kg category.
The delegated municipality organized a reception on Saturday with his trainer and his parents, to give him the municipal medal. Aged 13, Ambre first trained at the Saint-Laurent-de-la-Plaine club, before joining the Ketsugo Angers club. She was departmental and regional champion in the youngest category, in 2019.
Finally, she has just been selected by the Maine-et-Loire judo committee to take part in the French team championship in May.
