The Movistar cyclist Enric Mas has suffered a spectacular fall with 29 kilometers left to reach the finish line, in the sixth stage of Itzulia. The runner born in the Balearic Islands has lost control of his bike in a narrow and descending area. Apparently, he has suffered a deep cut on his right arm, possibly when he hit the guardrail. A colleague has stayed to help him and has raised his arms asking for help.
Mas was very attentive in the front group and had responded with good legs to a hard attack by the Slovenian Roglic.
