On April 1st, 2022, representatives from the three sports districts of the Judo Association of Saxony met to set the course for the future of the JVS in the area of kata.
For more than 1 year we have been working on various concepts and improvements for the entire Kata area. After consultation with President Frank Nitzel and the Board of Directors, the ideas and suggestions of the newly founded Kata Commission can now be put into practice. In the future, workshops and seminars for the 1st Kyu and for the 1st-3rd give DAN.

Several members of the Judo Association of Saxony have also agreed to take part in various Kata adjudicator courses/qualifications, so that medium and long-term goals/ideas can also be put into practice.
