Jake Paul claims to have conquered the boxing world and is now considering a career in NFL.

The YouTube sensation has been adamant about wanting to play in the NFL, posting a video of a “visit” to the Dallas Cowboys facility on Friday.

“Amazing visit to the Dallas Cowboys today,” said Paul, attaching a video catching an unmarked touchdown pass. “Excited for my path to the NFL.”

So, was this just an April Fools’ Day prank? No way: Paul is serious, and clarified in a tweet.

“Wait…remember when people said I couldn’t box?” Paul said. “And then I became the highest paid fighter, undefeated and knocked out everyone I fought. Now they say I can’t go to the NFL? Honey, hold my beer…”

Paul also posted his marks, arguing that he can run 40 yards in 4.37 seconds and has a 33-inch vertical jump. He also called his knockout power “a lot” and his hand wrestling “incredible.”

Paul he had previously spoken about his plans in the NFL with Stephen A. Smith of ESPN.

“Don’t you think the Browns would draft me? Come on, I can play free safety!” Paul said. “If you get me one of those sticky Nike gloves, I’ll be there scoring touchdowns. You’ll see me featured on SportsCenter.”

Paul wants to finish his boxing career 10-0

While the NFL is on Paul’s radar, he’s not done with boxing. The Problem Child wants to get to a 10-0 record before hanging up the gloves. He is currently 5-0 with four knockouts, the most recent of which was to former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley in December 2021.

“There are no limits for me right now and if I want to achieve something, it’s about being able to do it and committing myself and doing the work necessary to do it.”

“But I think right now, to go 10-0, be undefeated, fight some big names, make history and maybe take someone’s world championship belt just to say I did it, and walk away 10-0. ”

Paul targets an MMA showdown against big names

The NFL isn’t the only new challenge Paul has been considering. He has also been drawing the attention of some UFC fighters like Conor McGregor and Jorge Masvidal.

“Fighting Conor is what I want the most, but I would also fight Masvidal”, Paul told ESPN last month. “I know it may seem impossible to beat these guys in MMA, but when you believe, you can achieve anything. I would ask for six months to train.”

Paul has repeatedly criticized the UFC for paying its fighters. He proposed to the president of the UFC, Dana White, that if he fought and won, the promotion would have to pay the fighters 50% of the company’s income and provide them with full medical care. Should he lose, he maintained that he would donate all of his money to UFC fighters earning less than $50,000 per fight and said “I will never mention the UFC again.”

“There are no losers in this proposal,” Paul said. “The UFC has an event that generates huge revenue. If I win, Dana will change the future of UFC fighters forever. If I lose, there will be a one-time bonus for many fighters, MMA won’t have to hear from me and Conor again. [o] Jorge wins again and they manage to shut up Jake Paul.”

Paul predicted he would knock out McGregorwho has won just once in the UFC since 2016, in the first round.
