ISPS Handa Championship: Jacquelin and Rozner 12th at 6 strokes, Jamieson leader

The second round of the ISPS Handa Championship held in Spain at the Lakes Course in Infinitum (Tarragona) offers itself a strong leader. Scott Jamieson played very heavy this Friday on the usual layout of European cards. His 63 (-7) haloed by six birdies, an eagle against two bogeys gave him the lead halfway through the race. The current 36th in the Race to Dubai is even two strokes ahead at -11 total over Tapio Pulkkanen and three over Adrian Otaegui.

A Blue duo at the gates of the Top 10

On the French side, it is Raphaël Jacquelin and Antoine Rozner who take up the torch. Both are in 12th place thanks to identical cards of 68 (-2). The Lyonnais signed five birdies against three bogeys, while the Parisian posted four birdies for two hitches. At -5 total, they are now six shots off the lead.

Behind, Clément Sordet plays 70 (par) for 21st place at -4 total alongside Adrien Saddier (67 this Friday). Julien Guerrier follows one step further in 29th place (67, -3 total).

Cut also crossed for Victor Perez (68, -2 total, 43rd) and Mike Lorenzo-Vera (70, -2 total, 43rd). Jean-Baptiste Gonnet and Julien Brun suddenly snatched their place for the weekend thanks to scores of 67 (with birdie option at 18) for the first and 66 for the second.

Matthieu Pavon, Romain Langasque, Robin Roussel and Joël Stalter stumble on the cut.
