The possibility of the Denver Nuggets re-signing Nikola Jokic in the 2022 free agency window is strong. The center, winner of the NBA MVP award in the 2021-22 season, is in the penultimate year of his current contract and his team’s office does not want to lose him.
How much would Nikola Jokic’s contract be? Taking into account that he is already a veteran in the league and the quality of his game, the Serb could agree to a five-year deal for $254 million, according to ESPN.

That $254 million represents a record for contracts of this kind for the Nuggets, one of the youngest franchises in the league. With that amount, Jokic’s total income would rise above 350 million dollars.
By the end of any such deal, Nikola Jokic would be 33 years old and have a total of 13 seasons in the league. He would still have time for another million-dollar deal to round out a career that seems destined for the Hall of Fame.
The center’s numbers so far are 19.7 points, 10.4 rebounds and 6.2 assists per game.
