Granada and Rayo Vallecano tied (2-2) this Sunday at the Estadio Nuevo Los Cármenes, a result that allows both teams to take off one more point from the relegation zone, but which prolongs their bad streaks, since the Andalusians have gone six games without winning at home and the Vallecanos have not yet won in 2022.

The team led by Andoni Iraola, who was sent off in the second half, was much better in the first half and went 0-2 thanks to goals from Alejandro Catena and Sergi Guardiola, although Alejandro Catena was sent off for two yellow cards at the start of the second act brought the locals to life.

In the midst of the rojiblanco barrage, Jorge Molina reduced differences midway through the second half and Luis Milla avoided the Rayista victory in added time by scoring a penalty called by the referee at the request of the VAR at the hands of Mario Suárez.
