Kolding: In the weekend of 1 – 3 April 2022, the individual Danish Championships 2022 for the best youth players were held in Brøndby Hallen. 16 players from Kolding Badminton Klub participated. It was a great DM for Kolding Badminton Club, which came home with eight medals, two of them in Gold, it is stated in a press release.
In U13M it became a gold medal in women’s doubles for Julie Søgaard and Filippa Østergaard Salomonsson. The two can thus call themselves Danish champions in U13. In women’s singles and mixed doubles, Julie Søgaard also received a bronze medal.
In U17E, Lærke Thomsen received a gold medal in women’s singles. Lark was also to be found on the medal podium in the women’s doubles, where she won a silver medal. In the men’s doubles, it was bronze medals for Nikolaj Søgaard and Mikkel Klinggaard Andersen, who each competed with their partner.
