The Fraport Skyliners from Frankfurt are about to be relegated from the basketball Bundesliga.
The bottom of the table lost the game at the Hamburg Towers on Wednesday with 58:68 (21:30) and with a record of 6:24 victories only has a theoretical chance of staying up in the league. Only if Frankfurt wins the remaining four games, the Löwen Braunschweig lose all games and at the same time the Jobstairs Giessen 46ers also end up with ten wins in the end, would the 2004 champions stay in the league thanks to the direct comparison.

Coach Luca Dalmonte’s team found themselves behind in northern Germany from the start.
