It was the media bomb this Thursday, April 28. The Italian press announced the death of Mino Raiola, the sulphurous agent of football stars. A few tens of minutes after the announcement, Mino Raiola reappears on Tweeter announcing that he has been resurrected, with a slight hint of humor but above all anger towards the press.
The information was confirmed by Tuttosport at the start of the afternoon, Mino Raiola would have died at the age of 54. The Italian had already undergone emergency surgery earlier this year for a lung disease. Since his operation, the football stars’ agent has been under medical supervision.
The sulphurous and very influential agent of football stars, specialist in large transfers and agent commissions like the transfer of Paul Pogba in 2016, would in fact be alive and well. The Italian shared his anger with a simple tweet: “Current state of health for those wondering: pissed off 2nd time in 4 months (that) they kill me. (I) also seem capable of resurrecting.” Retweeted over 12,000 times in ten minutes.
However, Mino Raiola’s state of health is very fragile.
