The weekend of June 25 and 26, 2022 is an opportunity to attend a rather rare sporting event in Paris, the Archery World Cup, the finals of which will take place at the Château de Vincennes.
The Hyundai Archery World Cup Paris is the thirdstage of an international circuit that brings together the best archers in the world in two outdoor archery disciplines: recurve bow and compound bow. After the qualifying and playoff stages at the Stade Charléty in Paris, the Château de Vincennes will host the endings of each discipline weekend of June 25 and 26, 2022.
During these two days, the curious and amateurs of archery will also be able to discover this sport thanks to the entertainment village freely accessible within the grounds of the Château, two years from the Olympic Games. A zone d’initiation will allow you to discover archery, supervised by qualified trainers who will teach the basics of this sport, before eating in the food-trucks on site.
In 2013, Paris hosted the World Cup Final at the Fontaines du Trocadéro. The Hyundai World Cups take place outdoors at a distance of 70m for the recurve bows and 50m for the compound bows. The competition generally lasts six days and is divided into two parts, the week with the qualifications and the playoffs, then the weekend with the finals in an iconic location in the organizing city.
Saturday June 25: Compound Finals
- 10 a.m.-12 p.m.: mixed doubles and team finals
- 2-4:30 p.m.: individual finals
Sunday June 26: Recurve Finals
- 10 a.m.-12 p.m.: mixed doubles and team finals
- 2-4:30 p.m.: individual finals
