The National High School Women’s Baseball Federation and the All Japan Women’s Baseball Federation announced on the 26th that the final of this summer’s National High School Women’s Championship will be held at Koshien Stadium on August 2. The game is scheduled to start at 4 pm, with a preliminary day of 4 days. Until the semi-final, it will be held in Tamba City, Hyogo Prefecture.
The championship started in 1997 and has been held in Tamba City since 2004. At the 25th tournament last year, in which 40 schools participated, the requests of the people concerned were fulfilled, and the final at Koshien Stadium was realized for the first time. After repeated discussions with the Japan High School Baseball Federation and the same stadium, the “Sacred Place for High School Baseball Federations” will be the stage for the final for the second consecutive year.
Last year, it was held on August 23, during the men’s national high school championship, and Kobe Koryo (Hyogo) beat Kochi Chuo 4-0.
