Dutch scout after 8 years away from Manchester United | Football

Louis van Gaal took Bout with him when he joined Manchester United after the 2014 World Cup. The trainer was fired two years later. Bout stayed, but now has to leave, just like head scout Jim Lawlor. The pair have been criticized lately. Manchester spent a lot of money, but nevertheless failed to connect with the clubs at the top. The club is now sixth on 22 points behind leaders Liverpool.

“We sincerely thank Jim and Marcel for their important contribution. We wish them all the best for the future,” said Manchester United.

Ajax coach Erik ten Hag will most likely start as the new head coach of Manchester next season.
