For those wondering why Drake hopes the Golden State Warriors make it all the way to the Western Conference this season, we now have the answer. The Grammy-winning billionaire hip-hop phenomenon Drake, just made a crazy $ 200,000 bet on Stephen Curry and this season’s NBA Western Conference Champion Warriors.
Drake shared a screenshot of his bet on Instagram as he revealed who he’ll be officially rooting for in the West this year.

Honestly, the chances of the Warriors winning the Western Conference are high. The Phoenix Suns are the favorites but behind them are the Californians, although the Memphis Grizzlies could be the crazy variable, but not too much. Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and company have all the credentials to return to play a Finals against the Eastern Conference winner. Of course the Warriors at this point also have an extra NBA fan and we’re talking about Drake.
Only time will tell if it will really be the Golden State to win its Conference but we can certainly say that Drake is a mad billionaire.
