Havana, Apr 17 (ACN) Cuba will debut today against Colombia in the mixed team tournament of the I Pan-American and Oceania Junior Judo Championshipbased in Lima, Peru.

According to the website of the International Federation www.ijf.orgthe Cubans will face the Colombians in group C, while in group A the favorites Brazil will face Australia.

In the first remaining matches are Mexico and the Dominican Republic, in Group B, and Peru against the winner of the match between Chile and Argentina, in Group D.

Brazil, with seven gold, five silver and three bronze medals, won the individual tournament, ahead of Cuba (2-2-2), the United States (1-1-6), Canada (1-1-4 ), Venezuela (1-1-0), Australia (1-0-4) and Costa Rica (1-0-0), the seven nations that have won at least one of the 14 titles in the game.
