East Group
The results of the penultimate day in the East Group have not served to close practically any of the fronts that were open. The great beneficiary of the day is FC Cartagena CB, which with its victory against Decolor FG La Roda (62-72) qualifies for the playoffs and rises to fifth position. It has also been a very positive afternoon for Hestia Menorca, who with their victory over El Ventero CBV (86-74) will reach the last day with options to be second. In the fight for salvation, Herbalife Gran Canaria’s agonizing victory over Sant Antoni Ibiza Feeling, with three seconds remaining in extra time (82-80), prevented its relegation to the EBA League, as minutes before its rival had won more direct, Safir Fruits Alginet, to Mi Arquitecto CB Benicarló (72-64).
